Job Description
Were on the lookout for a 3.5T pick-up driver to become a vital part of our successful Manchester team. If you enjoy a role that offers variety teamwork and the chance to be part of a thriving company this could be the perfect fit for you!
As a customer-facing driver you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to our customers in Manchester and the surrounding areas. Your duties will include:
- Efficient & Safe Operation: Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely and within the law.
- Compliance: Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.
- Timely Deliveries: Complete and deliver orders to JDP customers on time.
- Customer Service: Represent JDP at the point of delivery providing excellent customer service and upholding JDPs strong reputation.
- Teamwork: You will be expected to help out in the branch when required.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A full UK driving licence: Category B
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of workplace safety.
- Route Planning: Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Forklift Truck Experience: Advantageous but not essential.
