Job Description
- Communication with business units and divisions
- Interface between business units and Material Field Purchasing for strategic and operational matters
- Managing platforms and projects from the innovation phase to the end of production (EoP)
- Responsibility for change management of purchased parts and cost-saving activities (RPP)
- Representing the Procurement department to higher levels of management
- Responsibility for procurement activities for all new projects (Product Engineering Process - PEP)
- Responsibility for achieving project goals (costs quality deadlines budget capacity)
- Participation in the Simultaneous Engineering (SE) team and coordination with suppliers
- Applying experience gained in SE
- Responsibility for technical discussions with suppliers (TSD)
- Support for preventive quality planning (APQP)
- Responsibility for evaluating and revising the procurement process (PR)
- Participation in Project Quality Gates (QG)
- Procurement for serial production until the end (End of Production - EOP)
- Responsibility for coordinating change management on the procurement side (ECR)
- Coordinating and leading Ratio Project Planning (RPP) globally from the procurement side and participating in RPP teams
- Responsibility for achieving local goals and integrating them into business units localization of goals while aligning with the Procurement strategy
- First point of contact for Junior Procurement Specialists in project management and problem-solving
Qualifications :
- University degree in Technical Mechanical Economics Faculty Faculty of Organizational Sciences or a similar field of education
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Advanced IT skills proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP
