Job Description

  • Communication with business units and divisions
  • Interface between business units and Material Field Purchasing for strategic and operational matters
  • Managing platforms and projects from the innovation phase to the end of production (EoP)
  • Responsibility for change management of purchased parts and cost-saving activities (RPP)
  • Representing the Procurement department to higher levels of management
  • Responsibility for procurement activities for all new projects (Product Engineering Process - PEP)
  • Responsibility for achieving project goals (costs quality deadlines budget capacity)
  • Participation in the Simultaneous Engineering (SE) team and coordination with suppliers
  • Applying experience gained in SE
  • Responsibility for technical discussions with suppliers (TSD)
  • Support for preventive quality planning (APQP)
  • Responsibility for evaluating and revising the procurement process (PR)
  • Participation in Project Quality Gates (QG)
  • Procurement for serial production until the end (End of Production - EOP)
  • Responsibility for coordinating change management on the procurement side (ECR)
  • Coordinating and leading Ratio Project Planning (RPP) globally from the procurement side and participating in RPP teams
  • Responsibility for achieving local goals and integrating them into business units localization of goals while aligning with the Procurement strategy
  • First point of contact for Junior Procurement Specialists in project management and problem-solving

Qualifications :

  • University degree in Technical Mechanical Economics Faculty Faculty of Organizational Sciences or a similar field of education
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently
  • Advanced IT skills proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP
