Job Description

Coordinate freight movements across Australia and beyond with one of Australias leading aquaculture companies.

Were looking for a proactive and organised Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic Supply Operations team. Based in our Hobart CBD office youll play a key role in managing daily freight bookings aligning schedules and ensuring the smooth flow of goods across our national and international supply chains.

If youre a strong communicator thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working with systems and logistics data this could be the perfect fit.

The role

  • Coordinate air sea and road freight bookings with transport carriers and 3PL providers
  • Align delivery schedules with warehouse and dispatch operations
  • Prepare and manage freight documentation (Export documentation PODs POPs etc.)
  • Support both domestic and international transport ensuring CoR and legal compliance.
  • Track freight performance maintain dashboards and generate reports
  • Work with internal teams to optimise routes and improve delivery efficiency
  • Respond to internal freight queries processing requests and assisting with audits claims and shipment reconciliation.
  • Identify and resolve delivery or transport issues proactively
  • Pitching in across broader Supply Operations when needed.

About you

  • 24 years experience in logistics freight coordination or transport planning
  • Familiar with freight systems and multiple transport modes (road air sea)
  • Confident using ERP or TMS systems (experience with both is a bonus!)
  • Strong communicator with a knack for building relationships across teams.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-moving environments.
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to juggle deadlines and priorities.
  • A team player who takes pride in doing things safely and efficiently.
