ABOUT BROOKSIDE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER:
Brookside is a licensed Community Health Center of Brigham and Womens Hospital and provides multi-disciplinary comprehensive care with services in a range of medical areas including: Adult Family and Pediatric Primary Care OB/GYN Family Planning Dental/Oral Surgery Nutrition/WIC Behavioral Health and Specialty Medicine (Cardiology
Pulmonology and Nephrology). Brookside also has a Laboratory onsite Financial Counseling and Community Resource Specialists. Each year more than 11000 patients from Jamaica Plain the city of Boston and surrounding areas use these services producing more than 69000 visits to Brookside each year. Most of Brooksides patient population are Spanish speaking and socioeconomically underserved. The health centers services guided by equity are provided by a bilingualEnglish/Spanish medical and professional staff. Brookside is a teaching site for Harvard Medical School Mass GeneralInstitute of Health Professionals School of Nursing Harvard Dental School Boston University Dental School as well asother Boston area health care professional programs

This position is 100% onsite 40 hours with a rotating scheduled days and evenings until 6:30pm
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong technology and MS Office skills Advanced Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Knowledge of office operations and standards and understanding of office procedures including filing copying scanning printing and faxing.
- Ability to use phone system and manage more non-routine phone calls and solve routine issues as appropriate.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents to correspond and communicate with others clearly and effectively (including composing/editing e-mail memos and letters) and to take complete and accurate messages.
- Managing ones own time and the time of others.
- Well organized and good time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively follow established protocols and work within systems.
- Ability to proofread and edit written documents.
