Air Liquide Engineering & Construction builds the Groups production units (mainly air gas separation and hydrogen production units) and provides external customers with efficient sustainable customized technology and process solutions. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
In this position you will be responsible for:
Arranging transportation and logistics related services in assigned projects executed by Air Liquide Engineering & Construction in various countries
Analysing engineering documentation in regards of the commodity specifications and transport requirements and constraints;
Preparation of the transport RFQs negotiating the terms and conditions of transport contracts;
Ordering and coordination of transport services and monitoring logistics service providers performance;
Coordination of packing and loading activities by suppliers / logistics service providers;
Managing the logistics budget in project monitoring the variances updating the forecast; identifying and driving cost reduction opportunities
Preparation/verification of documentation for customs clearances and shipment: customs declarations Certificates of Origin packing lists in SAP transport drawings;
Representation towards Customs and Transport authorities;
Cooperation with and support to other stakeholders in Poland France and Germany: engineering procurement material management commercial management finance;
Filling the Intrastat reporting arranging customs clearances applying for export permits
Reporting and maintaining logistics KPIs.
Are you a MATCH
Bachelor degree in Logistics Engineering or Economics;
Experience in international business environment;
Minimum 7 years of experience in international logistics preferably in sea or oversized transports.
Working knowledge of various customs procedures
Good knowledge of international trade principles and tax aspects in intracommunity and international trade
Proficiency in English; knowledge of other language would be an asset;
Willingnessto travel;
Proficiency in spreadsheets SAP knowledge would be an asset;
Self-reliance ability to work under time pressure aim-oriented approach.
