Role- Graduate Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer
Salaryper annum (dependent on experience please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Gloucestershire
My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Electrical Engineer to develop as part of their team on a permanent basis in the Gloucestershire area.
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
- Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Be proficient with using CAD for electrical PLC circuit design ideally SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of PLC systems programming capabilities
- Skills such as C and LabVIEW would also be beneficial
- Have excellent hands on capabilities too with panel building and wiring
- Previous manufacturing industry experience preferred but not essential
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Full Driving Licence
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer role will involve:
- Working within the existing engineering technical team
- Being involved in design and development work
- Working on PLCs
- Developing bespoke control boards
- Producing technical documentation
- Interfacing with customers when required
- Some travel to customer sites will be involved too
- Liaising with other colleagues
