The newly formed customer Area Near Patient Care within our Business Area Roche Diagnostics Solutions combines our expertise in the Point-of-Care (PoC) and Diabetes Care (DC) portfolios. Our goal in Near Patient Care is to enable precise diagnoses across all areas of the healthcare system from homes pharmacies and doctors offices to emergency rooms and hospitals in order to support a sustainable healthcare system.
Operations Near Patient Care (DOB) is a vital pillar within Global Diagnostic Operations where we produce strips for PoC and blood glucose monitoring (BGM) systems as well as new continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices.
The department
The Operational Technology (OT) department is a function supporting all digital systems for NPC operations from development to support and lifecycle management. Our global team located in Mannheim and Indianapolis ensures integration between the shop floor QC and external manufacturers with systems such as MES SAP warehouse systems and data management systems.
The position
We are looking for you as a Digital Program Manager. As a seasoned digital program/project manager you will be responsible for delivering multiple digital projects (both internally and externally built systems) within our value streams CGM BGM and PoC.
Your tasks
You are managing large teams of specialists/ experts and/or supervisors and (junior) leaders
You are accountable for the performance and results of your teams within the digital department
You execute short term department plans and priorities through managing budget planning and delegating with own team
Decisions and problem solving are guided by no or little precedent and performed independently
You are responsible for leading multiple complex projects within manufacturing and/or quality developing system concepts for end to end solutions and working in a cross-functional environment including Engineering R&D Internal/External Manufacturing IT and beyond
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science Informatics or Engineering
8 Years project management experience preferably within the Medical Device Industry and/or Operations including influence in the design of digital manufacturing processes
Experience with the digital landscape of operations (shop floor systems QC systems data management) and have a working knowledge of incident management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
You can provide logic and reason (the why) when managing risks and conflicting priorities with strong understanding of the overall cost structure
You have successfully led large digital projects or programs before demonstrating your ability to manage complex tasks efficiently and effectively.
You are fluent in English and you can communicate at different stakeholder levels

Location: Indianapolis Headquarters campus. This role is not a remote based role
Travel time 10%
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is 136400/yr to 253400/yr. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
