Were searching for enthusiastic Event Activity Instructors to join our Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines team!
As our Event Activity Instructor youll be at the heart of delivering engaging safe and memorable program activities and events that help shape these incredible girls into confident leaders.
The hourly rate of pay is $16.00.
Day In The Life:
- Deliver a fun program to Girl Scouts. Ensure activities are planned and implemented that meet the needs of the participants of the event.
- Ensure a quality program that is safe is being offered by the event staff.
- Ensure that adult volunteers and girls know and follow safety and educational procedures during programs.
- Role model appropriate attitude and behavior to all participants and staff.
- Professionally handles interactions with all entities (girls parents volunteers staff and program partners).
- Maintains accurate record-keeping systems including membership information program evaluation data and budget as assigned.
- Promotes acceptance and understanding of girls from all backgrounds.
- Assists with the preparation and on-site support of events and activities as needed.
- Actively supports and promotes the Councils and GSUSAs affirmative action plans and their commitments to diversity throughout the organization.
- Supports and assists the program staff in its efforts to achieve stated Council goals.
- Follows established personnel policies and health safety and program standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of specific activity areas and necessary certifications to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints.
- Experience in implementing program activities.
- Prior experience working with children and adult volunteers.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules (evenings and weekends).
