Summary:The VCU Athletics Ticket Office is seeking a dynamic friendly and customer-oriented employee for theposition of Ticket Office Associate. This role will support the full-timeticket office staff in several key functions in the office and at sporting Office Associates may work independently or as a member of a team andwill be under limited supervision.

Typical Duties

Job duties and responsibilities include:
Provide support to fans and ticket holders by answering inbound phone calls
Assist with in-person ticket sales at the VCU Ticket Office
Assist with all Athletics ticketed events by selling tickets or distributing tickets for team pass lists
In some instances serve as box office manager on game days at select sporting events
Provide a high level of customer service to fans ticket holders donors and the general public
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Paciolan software or similar ticketing system
Drivers license and ability to transport self to off-campus Athletic venues

Minimum Qualifications

High school graduate
Must possess excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Experience in cash handling and money management
Knowledge of PC operations and software
Ability to work well in a team environment
Adherence to all applicable NCAA conference and institutional rules and regulations
