Job Description
Job Brief:
Employment Type: Contract Based
Location: Remote Full Time
Time Zone: CET (04 Hours Overlap)
Project Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Responsibilities:
Support Clients on projects or ongoing support services taking care of web administration activities using IIS .NET framework and core technologies Nginx Apache PHP etc.
Support and maintain cloud-based web applications by leveraging a deep understanding of cloud resources CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Analyze identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities to enhance system performance reliability and cost efficiency leveraging Ansible scripting (with PowerShell or Bash) and other automation technologies.
Implement security best practices for web applications including least privileged CIS benchmark baselining vulnerability management etc.
Draft technical documentation on web services related procedures and operations.
Stay updated on industry best practices emerging cloud trends and new technologies assessing their potential for adoption or integration.
Required Technical Skills:
Experience in systems administration (Linux or Windows) and Web Servers configuration and administration (Nginx Apache or IIS).
Knowledge of Web authentication mechanisms and security best practices for web applications.
Experience with Cloud-Based services (IaaS & PaaS) in public or private cloud providers.
Operation of CI/CD pipelines and git versioning systems.
Hands-on experience on scripting and automation (PowerShell scripting Bash Go Ansible etc.).
Previous exposure to service management methodologies (ITIL).
