Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Informatica Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore with a strong background in data integration and management specifically with the FIRM application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica to support our data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to extract transform and load data from various sources into the FIRM application.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the FIRM application.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL workflows to improve performance and reliability within the FIRM application environment.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing validation and cleansing processes in the FIRM application.
- Monitor and maintain the Informatica environment including job scheduling error handling and performance tuning related to the FIRM application.
- Document ETL processes data mappings and technical specifications for the FIRM application.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data integration and Informatica technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Informatica Developer with a focus on the FIRM application.
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts data warehousing and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and related tools.
- Experience with SQL and database management systems (e.g. Oracle SQL Server).
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based data integration solutions.
- Knowledge of additional data integration tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
