Associate (Regulatory/Funds) 2-4 PQE Hong Kong
Our client a top international law firm is seeking a 2-4 PQE Associate to join its Financial Markets team in Hong Kong. This is an opportunity to specialize in regulatory and funds-related matters within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will work closely with leading partners on high-value cross-border transactions and gain exposure to a broad range of complex regulatory and funds-related work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on financial services regulatory matters including licensing compliance and cross-border regulatory issues.
- Support the funds practice including fund formation regulatory compliance and transactional matters.
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on high-value cross-border transactions and regulatory projects.
- Develop expertise in financial services regulation and funds-related matters contributing to the growth of the practice.
Key Requirements:
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm with a focus on financial markets.
- Strong experience in financial services regulatory matters.
- Experience in funds-related work (e.g. fund formation regulatory compliance) is highly desirable.
- Excellent academic background.
- International law firm experience preferred.
- Business-level proficiency in Mandarin and English.
