A fantastic opportunity within an international law firm has arisen for an Immigration Paralegal. Working with a high-calibre team of international lawyers this role offers excellent career support and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers in handling both inbound and outbound immigration matters for multi-national clients
- Keep track of changes to the immigration policies in Hong Kong
- Prepare and handle immigration and employment documents
- Support employment visa applications and renewals
- Liaise with external counsels and maintain a database system of records and reports
Requirements:
- Tertiary education or a degree (a law degree is not necessary)
- 10 years of relevant immigration or employment law experience in relation to Hong Kong and/or other countries ideally from law firms professional services or immigration consulting firms.
- Immigration consultants/specialists are welcome
- Fluency in written and spoken Cantonese Mandarin and English
- The ability to deal with projects independently
