Our client a multinational corporation is hiring a general commercial lawyer for their regional legal team based in Hong Kong. This key sole contributor role will:
- Advise business units in the regional team on a range of employment-related matters
- Review internal policies processes and guidelines in employment-related matters such as compensation and benefits retirement schemes and inclusion and diversity
- Handle labour disputes employment-related claims or investigations
- Advise business units on e-commerce contracts and other technology related matters
- Work closely with the global legal team on technology agreements
To qualify:
- You will be an experienced employment lawyer with around 8 PQE gained in law firms and in-house with multinational organisations
- Excellent contract drafting and communication skills is necessary
- Strong influencing/communication skills are required
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages are sought and Japanese language skills are advantageous
