Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Personal Support Assistant on a 2-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 12.85 - 16.61 per hour

Hours Per Week :25.00

Summary:

To provide dedicated clerical administrative and practical support to a visually impaired Co-production Officer ensuring effective contribution to team objectives and accessibility in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and proofreading accessible visual materials such as posters and leaflets using Canva or similar tools (training provided).
  • Verbally describe visual content (e.g. charts graphics websites) to support accessibility.
  • Attend meetings alongside the Co-production Officer to take notes and produce clear accurate minutes when required.
  • Undertake a wide range of business support tasks in accordance with defined policies and processes with attention to confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Assist in developing or improving processes to support service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2 or similar.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a business support or administrative role within a busy environment.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Word Excel and other common business applications.
  • Experience in note-taking and minute writing.
  • Familiarity with data input and management with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
