Job Summary
Schedule: Full TIme: 36 hrs.Why YOU should be our next Pain Management RN:
You will possess the ability to assess plan implement evaluate and accurately document nursing care
Will work with Harvard trained and board certified specialists (in pain management and anesthesiology) physicians
Will be able to ensure patients receive the best treatment for acute and/or chronic pain

Qualifications
- BSN required
- Pain Management Certification preferred
- Procedural/Pain Management experience preferred
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS for Healthcare Providers and ACLS required
- 3-5 years Med/Surg with Telemetry experience required
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
- Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
- Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards

Additional Job Details (if applicable)
- Providing longitudinal care for patients in the Pain Management Center Faulkner Campus
- Working in a busy procedural setting providing care to pain management clinic patients. This includes teaching and care for initial follow-up and procedure patients (including fluoroscopy) management of intrathecal therapy and responding to patients requests/inquiries
- Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
- Triages all urgent calls manages patient messages/calls. Sets priorities when organizing care based upon the acuity. Is aware of clinic flow and re-arranges provider schedules to accommodate the urgent care needs.
