Position: Project Manager Clean Energy & Regulatory Implementation
Become a Project Manager Clean Energy & Regulatory Implementation and build a better tomorrow. In this job youll lead high-impact cross-functional initiatives that support the implementation of CPUC-mandated requirements and clean energy policies. As a Project Manager youll play a key role in shaping regulatory outcomes driving continuous improvement and supporting Californias clean energy transition. This is a dynamic position ideal for someone passionate about energy policy stakeholder collaboration and delivering results in a fast-paced evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage the activities of one or more moderate to large short to mid-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs methods and outcomes
Exercise considerable latitude and judgment in developing plans budgets and resources directing activities and actions and determining deliverables
Decide appropriate methods and procedures for new projects with significant independence
Engage with all levels of management and act as a key consultant for both functional and business issues
Facilitate project execution administration correspondence and flow of information/data
Analyze and determine regulatory impacts and requirements of the project
Identify deviations in the project plan identify issues and lead efforts to resolve them without compromising the original project goals budget and timing
Forecast project resources materials and contract costs within standard tools
Analyze policies and procedures and provide next-step recommendations as needed
Assess project risks and develop contingency plans
Identify and communicate lessons learned and best practices
Follow effective project governance and reporting in-line with project management standards
Maintain progress reports conduct change impact assessments and use project management tools
Maintain a system to measure the effectiveness of the project development process
Ensure the protection of physical financial and cybersecurity assets and manage sensitive data with high integrity
Minimum Qualifications:
Seven or more years of experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of California energy policy CPUC regulatory processes and clean energy programs
Experience managing cross-functional projects involving regulatory compliance rate design or demand response
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory or technical topics for diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Experience developing and implementing process improvements or continuous improvement initiatives
Familiarity with stakeholder engagement legislative review processes and customer advocacy in a regulated environment
