Job Description
Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator - Milan NM
Location: Milan NM
Schedule: Day shift 5x8-hour shifts weekly
- One position: Sunday-Thursday
- One position: Tuesday-Saturday
Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Weekly Gross: $2810
Job Overview:
We are seeking licensed Mental Health Coordinators (MHCs) for full-time contract assignments in a correctional facility in Milan NM. The MHC provides clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature to an incarcerated population. Candidates must be confident in secure settings and meet federal clearance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical interviews and assessments based on available records
- Develop implement and revise individualized treatment plans
- Provide mental health counseling therapy and crisis intervention
- Document all services and interventions in patient records
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional standards
- Utilize appropriate psychological theories and techniques in care delivery
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Active unrestricted LCSW LPC or LMFT license in NM
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience including 2 years in a comparable role
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with valid Social Security card for clearance
- Must reside 70 miles away from the facility
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers license preferred
- Must have open availability including weekends and holidays
- No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during assignment
Preferred:
- Experience in correctional or forensic mental health settings
- Active AHA BLS certification
