What youll do:
As a Product Development Engineer you will evaluate test and validate technology solutions for new products modules and systems considering gas component and gas system design concepts for Food Preparation across all the regions. In detail you will:
Evaluate test and validate functionality performance and reliability of gas modules components and subsystems considering all manufacturability quality and safety requirements aiming to meet the specified features quality and cost targets;
Evaluate component optimization for quality and safety improvements;
Participate in the execution of the areas development projects in order deliver to Gas
Technology Roadmap according to modularization guidelines of gas subsystems;
Support all Electrolux areas in quality improvement and cost reduction activities;
Monitor movements in the market in order to bring the best technologies and practices to the company.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You have:
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Experience with CAD software
Knowledge of production and process technologies
Knowledge of fluid dynamics and combustion
Knowledge of product cost structure
Where youll be:
You will be based at the Springfield plant in Tennessee.
