Job Description

In late January we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips Emergency Care business which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.

With Bridgefields support and building on our 40 year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives lowering the cost of healthcare and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED EMS (Emergency Medical Systems) military and hospital market segments.

In this role and as part of an agile company that has the dedicated resources needed to achieve its strategic goals youll have every opportunity to become a part of the NewCo we are forming and grow both personally and professionally and potentially make an even bigger impact on the acute care space as well as on the consumers patients and healthcare workers who depend on these innovative life-saving solutions.

As a Channel Account Manager for Home & Public AED (Automated External Defibrillator) at Philips you will be an integral part of the Emergency Care team working within both commercial B2B and B2C markets. Your main responsibility will be to exceed revenue and market share targets by nurturing our distributor network and fostering relationships with end-user customers foundations and associations. Additionally you will strategically seek new opportunities to collaborate with distributors in your territory.

Your role:

  • Develop and execute sales/business plans to achieve quarterly and annual financial sales and business objectives while managing and developing sales funnels within assigned customer market segments and geographic territory. Also strategically identify target and network into the executive (C-level) to identify new prospects as well as maintain existing customer base and identify ways to upsell within each account.

  • Identify new strategic partners and successfully onboard to represent our products and services within underserved markets and/or geographies. Additionally prepare and present pre-sale presentations some post-sale training and implementation to successfully close and implement customer programs. Also promote a consultative sales process through exceptional listening skills identifying and positioning solutions with an emphasis on establishing a productive long-term relationship with all stakeholders.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Philips AEDs and clinical as well as the Public Access defibrillation industry including industry trends industry financial measures and performance indicators and key competitors in our industry; while ensuring assigned distributors comply with Philips distribution contract requirements and train distributors sales teams and support distributor sales efforts (assigned and unassigned) within the territory. Uphold a thorough understanding of distribution partner business objectives stock levels sell-through rates and buying habits for funnel and forecast accuracy.

Youre the right fit if:

  • Youve acquired 3 years of distribution capital sales. AED experience preferred.

  • Your skills include proven expertise in managing both distributors and direct employees a consistent track record of exceeding company objectives and advanced knowledge in the science of sudden cardiac arrest and resuscitation you excel in aligning teams with organizational goals while effectively communicating complex concepts.

  • Bilingual French and English skills both written and verbal are required. French is promoted internally but English is essential for our global business. The candidate may report to a manager outside Quebec and/or interact with colleagues and partners in other provinces and countries. English is needed for communication training and support nationally and globally. Philips offers French and English language training aiming for fluency in both.

  • You have a Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent education/experience.

  • You possess excellent communication skills and proficient in English and French (verbal and written) the ability to travel up to 50%.

Philips Transparency Details

Total On-Target Earning (composed of base target incentive) from 85% to 120% performance achievement of Target Incentive is $126000 to$138000per year plus company fleet/ compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
