The Fidtern Program at a Glance

The 10-week Fidelity Intern Program (we lovingly call it our FIDTERN Program) is our world-class opportunity for college-level students looking to explore and learn more about Fidelitys business and culture through a cohesive and centralized program experience. There will be numerous opportunities to network and learn from Fidelity associates.

The program offers 8 skill profiles - below we have listed descriptions of each one.

• Actuary: Seeking students studying actuarial science or quantitative finance who are analytical and enjoy problem solving. The Intern Consultant works with Senior Associates Consultants to provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans. We work with you to develop their financial business and consultative skills. Your career path could range from a pension actuarial focus to a broad client strategy role guiding finance and human resource executives regarding their retirement health and welfare and employee communication needs.

• Legal Risk Compliance & Audit: Our Legal Risk Compliance and Audit groups protect the interests of our customers associates and Fidelitys outstanding brand. Internship opportunities include roles such as Business Audit Technology Audit Enterprise Risk and Compliance Technology Risk Data Analytics and Global Security and Investigations. This role is for candidates interested in protecting the firm at all costs helping to determine issues before they arrive on our doorstep and being the ethical standard of the organization. This is a great role if you are interested in joining one of our internal audit teams you can focus on the regulatory and operational side of managing financial risk flagging accounts with suspicious withdrawal/funds and you can also work on investigating financial crimes!

• Client Relations: Supercharge your early career and growth at Fidelity with personalized support knowledgeable career guides and celebration of your achievements while learning about Fidelity and building skills and experiences. In this role you will be a front facing-client intern. Youll be job shadowing other associates listening on phone calls and start taking calls on your own as we help you build confidence and get the customer facing experience in real time. Engage in dedicated time each week to connect and refuel by completing individual/group tasks & projects networking with colleagues and building client relationships. This internship could lead into sales or customer service full time roles such as the Investment Sales Associate role Customer Relationship Advocate role and Workplace Planning Associate.

• Corporate Service Support: We offer a wide variety of opportunities for students interested in business internships including roles in marketing/events public affairs communications Fidelity real estate and corporate services. You should apply to these roles if you have an appetite for learning are a natural problem solvers and love collaborating!

• Finance: The Finance Internship is for candidates interested in analytical and back end of finance. More of individual environment doing projects/tasks on your own working in Excel day in and out manipulating data (more than proficiency in Excel- formulas pivot tables etc. is a must). Could be updating financial and statistical information automating processes & reporting analysis & working with data understanding how money moves through Fidelity and financial modeling. This is a back of the office role with no client facing interaction. Finance internships include exposure to teams who provide detailed financial information to the companys businesses enabling them to strategically prioritize and drive business performance!

• Human Resources: Experience different HR areas and gain a broad cross-functional understanding of the HR function and a foundation of business insight. For HR we look for strong multi-taskers with a strong EQ and communication skills and are analytical problem solvers

• Operations: Seeking incredible multi-taskers with strong problem solving and excel skills. Operations interns will work closely with clients and business partners to ensure the seamless delivery of Fidelitys products and services through outstanding customer service support and detailed processing of transaction requests.

• Technology: Fidelity Investments is seeking the best and brightest to join our Summer 2025 Technology Internship Program. This internship will help you develop the technical professional and interpersonal skills that will be valuable throughout your career. Working side by side with some of the best technologists in the industry you will perform relevant work with direct impact on our business and customers. The Internship Program also provides a robust series of events for interns including volunteer days and outings for networking.
