Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week seasonal assignment. Join our highly skilled team to provide diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a collaborative patient-focused environment.
Seasonal Position Details:
Full-Time work schedule required for no less than 13-week assignment
15% Premium Pay (Seasonal Premium)
No Health Benefits 401(k) Eligible
$1000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 30 days in position
$1000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 60 days in position
$1000 Seasonal Completion Bonus after completion of 13-week assignment
What Were Looking For:
Current RCIS or RCES certification.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment.
Ensure patient safety and provide excellent care during procedures.
Collaborate with cardiologists RNs and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records and comply with all safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications:
Credentialing as either a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) is required.
BLS required.
ACLS must be successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in the below preferred:
Interventional Cardiology
Interventional Radiology
Radiology
Excellent organizational skills detail-oriented a self-starter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Performs and reviews patient history. Responds to patient response to diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.
Provides patient care in lab as directed by the physician. Assists with procedures performed by vascular surgeons interventional cardiologists electrophysiologist and/or radiologists.
Performs technical support before during and post procedure based on Institutional policy.
Operates and maintains all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment utilized for procedures per scope of practice and vendor specifications and guidelines.
Monitors patients during procedures.
Assists with maintenance of inventory for Hybrid OR Cath Lab EP Lab and/or interventional labs.
Sets up procedure trays prior to procedure start. Participates and/or coordinates patient care and flow.
Exhibits proper safety as appropriate to the area. Reports all malfunctioning equipment and/or errors and documents all safety related issues and outcomes per department procedure and protocol.
Participates in developing and updating procedures and protocols.
Maintains accountability to technologist competency and quality control standards.
Actively continues education and stays abreast of current technology and trends in the interventional cardiology field.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
