Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The SAP FICO BSA is responsible for analyzing designing and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet business needs. This role acts as a bridge between finance teams and IT ensuring that SAP solutions align with financial processes compliance requirements and strategic goals. The BSA plays a key role in system implementations upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives providing both functional expertise and project leadership.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional specifications.
  • Configure and support SAP FI (GL AP AR AA) and CO (Cost Center Profit Center Internal Orders Product Costing) modules.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline processes and improve reporting.
  • Lead or support SAP FICO implementations enhancements and upgrades.
  • Perform system testing user acceptance testing (UAT) and support go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents.
  • Document business processes system configurations and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls SOX and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g. MM SD HR) for integrated solutions
  • Lead or support SAP FICO implementations enhancements and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.

Work Experience

  • 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP FICO.
  • Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in requirements gathering solution design and end-user training.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. pharma manufacturing) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Experience working in multi-entity multi-currency environments with global finance teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional workshops gathering requirements and delivering end-user training.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • SAP FICO certification is preferred
  • Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in requirements gathering solution design and end-user training.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. pharma manufacturing) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail deadlines and reporting
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite Outlook and Internet applications
