Job Summary
Our Ophthalmology team is determined to give new hires the opportunity to gain clinical knowledge and skills to start/continue a rewarding career in Ophthalmology. A Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing intraoperative care to surgical patients. Successful candidates are eager to learn motivated have strong communication and interpersonal skills are detail oriented and are committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Available Shifts/Locations:
We are currently hiring for our Longwood satellite campus (800 Huntington Ave) shifts to include full-time/40hrs weekly 7:00am-5:30pm.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
- Basic Life Support BLS Certification - preferred
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program or have been employed as a surgical technologist in a surgical facility on or before July 1st 2013 or have successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army Navy Air Force Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service (MA Senate Bill 2058 December 2012). Graduates who have not obtained their certification will have one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program to obtain their certification.

- Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program unless one of the below criteria are met:

- Have successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army Navy Air Force Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service (MA Senate Bill 2058 December 2012).
