Warehouse PM Team Leader

Outskirts of Northamptonshire (NN6)

Monday Friday 16:00 00:00

DOE back shift bonus

We have partnered with a large logistics expert who are looking for a PM team leader to join their new site in Northamptonshire. You will be responsible for overseeing operational processes supervising personnel coordinating shift activities and maintaining client satisfaction with the overall aim of achieving a high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for a specific floor or process area within the warehouse.
  • Allocate labour and equipment resources effectively to meet operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and respond appropriately to any violations.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively minimizing service disruptions.
  • Engage with team members regularly to encourage open communication address concerns celebrate achievements and promote a positive working environment.
  • Monitor team and individual performance providing coaching mentoring and training to support development.
  • Assist with formal processes including performance management attendance tracking and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing enhancements.
  • Lead or support ad hoc projects in line with operational needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and previous experience in a senior role.
  • Commitment to staying informed about industry developments.
  • Strong decision-making abilities with sound judgment and a willingness to take responsibility.
  • Consistent and accurate execution of core tasks with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills capable of influencing at all levels and serving as a role model in behaviour and performance.
  • Ability to adapt communication style and build effective internal relationships.
  • Demonstrates initiative in learning growth and embracing new challenges.
