HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to help grow upon our already established GI team in Decatur Illinois. Enjoy suburban living with easy access to all of lifes every day needs while also having the big city amenities of Chicago and St. Louis within driving distance.

HSHS Medical Group is a multispecialty medical group made up of over 350 providers across 60 clinics throughout central and southern Illinois inclusive of a robust primary care referral base supporting our GI practices. HSHS Medical Group is an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System which is a Catholic non-profit integrated healthcare delivery system comprised of 13 hospitals across Illinois and Wisconsin guided by our mission and grounded in modern best practices.

Position Details:
- Monday Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week
- 7 days per month of call & inpatient rounds while on call
- Minimal after hours clinic call
- EPIC EMR
- Dedicated support staff
- Robotics available for surgical cases

Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- M.D. D.O. or professional equivalent degree

Pay Range: $700000


Education Qualifications
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed or in the process of completing an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.
