Job Description
Operating Room Housekeeper Environmental Services Full - Time Nights

Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound 4400 Long Prairie Rd. Flower Mound TX 75028
Work hours: Full-Time Nights Monday Friday Every other weekend 11:00pm to 7:30am
Environmental Services Department Highlights:

Heres What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
- 1 year previous experience cleaning hospital operating rooms HIGHLY preferred
- Knowledge about terminally cleaning Operating Rooms strongly preferred
- Leadership experience strongly preferred
What You Will Do
- Clean Operating Rooms
- Empty clean and reline trash containers.
- Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
- Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff.
- Clean restrooms restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets.
- Perform patient interviews on incoming and discharging patients to inform them of the expectations from the EVS department.
- Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen.
- Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients family members and staff.
