Job Description
Enrichment specialist willdevelop and implement programs that provide supplemental learning experiences for students often targeting those who need extra academic challenge or those who benefit from specialized activities.They work to enhance learning by creating engaging activities fostering critical thinking and promoting student growth in various areas including academics social-emotional development life skills computer skills curriculum enhancements and makerspace opportunities.
Curriculum Development and Implementation:
- Designing developing and delivering engaging and enriching curriculum and activities tailored to specific student needs and interests.
- Student Identification and Support:Identifying students who may benefit from enrichment programs and providing them with individualized or group support.
- Collaboration and Communication:Working with teachers parents and other staff to ensure program effectiveness communicate student progress and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Program Management:Organizing and coordinating enrichment activities events and resources to maximize their impact on students.
- Assessment and Evaluation:Tracking student progress assessing the effectiveness of the enrichment program and making adjustments as needed.
- Creating a Positive Learning Environment:Fostering a safe supportive and engaging atmosphere where students feel valued and can thrive.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:A bachelors degree from Accredited University is preferred.
- Experience:Experience working with children or students in an educational or enrichment setting is beneficial.
- Curriculum Development:Skills in designing and implementing engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Classroom Management:Ability to create a positive and structured learning environment.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students staff and parents.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:Ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions.
- Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks organize resources and track student progress.
This is a full time 10-month position with benefits.
