Job Description
HSHS St. Anthonys Hospital is recruiting a Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for our Level 2 Nursery team Effingham IL. HSHS St. Anthonys Hospital works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Position Details:
- 87 24-hour shifts per year
- All shifts are spent in house at the hospital.
- Self-scheduling is completed monthly with the NNP team
- Rotating requirement of weekends and holidays
- NNP on shift will cover the level 2 nursery and attend all high risk deliveries
Compensation & Benefits Package:
- Sign-on bonus available
- Base guarantee salary
- CME reimbursement per fiscal year
Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified
- 2 years of prior practicing experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Education Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
- Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
- Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
- Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
- Federal DEA license is preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.

Pay Range:
$59.25 - $85.00A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.
