The small engine mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of all landscape equipment and repairs. A mechanic who is knowledgeable in a wide range of small-displacement low-powered internal combustion engines used for landscaping.
Schedule: Part Time 20hrs M-F
Pay Rate: $24 -$30
- The Small Engine Mechanic will assist our Landscaping team! We need someone who can work on small engines mowers weed eaters etc.
- Must have the ability to diagnose repair and sharpen blades.
- Accurately and efficiently diagnose and repair all systems and components of equipment used in commercial landscaping
- Discuss equipment issues maintenance plans and work performed with customers
- Perform routine engine maintenance such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs
- Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
- Adjust components according to specifications
- Repair or replace worn defective or broken parts
- Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs
- Keep records of inspections test results work performed and parts used
