The Education Counselor is responsible for guiding students in choosing the right academic
programs and career paths based on their interests qualifications and goals. The role
involves providing information counseling and support throughout the admission process
while ensuring a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel students on courses offered by the institution and match them to their career
aspirations.
Handle inquiries through phone email walk-ins or online platforms.
Assist students in the admission process including application submission
documentation and follow-ups.
Provide detailed information about course content eligibility fees and career
outcomes.
Maintain regular contact with prospective students to convert inquiries into
admissions.
Follow up with leads generated through marketing and digital campaigns.
Maintain accurate records of interactions and admissions in the CRM system..
Provide ongoing support and guidance to students even after enrollment as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education or related field.
Prior experience in student counseling career guidance or education consultancy is a
plus.
Strong communication interpersonal and persuasive skills.
Ability to handle student queries with patience empathy and professionalism.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position including occasional weekend work.
