Role Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients orthopedic conditions.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.
- Perform surgical procedures for joint replacement fracture fixation and soft tissue repair.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery.
- Advise on rehabilitation programs for improved patient mobility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions and treatments.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training programs.
- Handle second opinions and complex cases with professionalism.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols during procedures.
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote orthopedic health.
Qualifications
- MS in Orthopedics or DNB in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in orthopedic surgery.
- Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes.
- Strong understanding of orthopedic principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of patient management software and electronic health records.
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery (preferred).
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (preferred).
- Skill in handling complex surgical procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to manage stressful situations with composure.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients.
