Job Description
- You have more than (3-5) years of experience in administrating and supporting SAS Production and development environments
- You have also 3 to 5 years of experience in SAS 9.4 development
- You have experience in setting up and operationalizing SAS environments
- You have an extended understanding of SAS data integration flows and concepts
- A real interest in understanding how a system works regardless of its complexityAn understanding of distributed systems and simultaneous computing is an asset
- The use of critical reasoning to address complex challenges
- Your ability to excel in a rapidly changing environmentYour communication and collaboration skills
- Your desire to learn and your insatiable curiosity
Requirements
- SAS 9 Intelligence Platform (SAS 9.4 9.2)
- Languages - SAS Python VSCode SQL VBA UNIX Script HTML BASH Shell Scripting
- Platforms - UNIX AIX Linux Windows Server AWS S3 buckets Databricks IICS
- Middleware Servers - IBM WebSphere Tomcat.
- Databases - Oracle SAS SPDS Teradata Snowflake.
- BI Software - SAS Power BI
Location: Toronto CA Hybrid onsite 3 days/week normal week is Tuesday and Thursdays on site with one day flex.
3-4 years of experience working in data, analytics, engineering, or a related field. Experience with building or managing a data pipeline in production. Familiar with data SLOs, validation, and pipeline health best practices. Experience in migration from large monolith tables to domain-specific entities derived from microservices. Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau, Qlik (Strong Preference). Experience with programming languages including R or Python. Strong proficiency in data tools such as Databricks, dbt, and cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP. Conceptual Understanding: Solid understanding of normalization, schema evolution, and transitive dependencies. Familiarity with data handling concepts (Loading and Transforming Data). Location: Toronto CA Hybrid, onsite 3 days/week normal week is Tuesday and Thursdays on site with one day flex.
