The Hu Lab at the Center for Perinatal Research is seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Associate to join our team. The candidate will support innovative research on lung epithelial progenitor cell activation and tissue repair in chronic lung diseases affecting both children and adults. Experience with mouse colony management is strongly preferred. Our research utilizes transgenic mice precision-cut lung slices patient-derived organoids and single-cell and spatial transcriptomics. The lab aims to identify molecular pathways regulating lung epithelial repair and to develop novel therapies that promote regeneration in diseases such as COPD and BPD.
