Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED . Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of industry experience in CNC machining or advanced manufacturing. Demonstrated commitment to equity inclusion and student-centered instruction.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching or training in a community college technical school union apprenticeship program or industrial setting. Familiarity with workforce development systems including WIOA -funded programs and employer engagement best practices. Proficiency in operating and maintaining Haas CNC machines as well as manual mills and lathes. Expertise in using precision measurement tools interpreting blueprints and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Competency in CAD / CAM software platforms (e.g. Fusion 360 SolidWorks Mastercam). Possession of relevant industry-recognized credentials (e.g. NIMS Level I or II OSHA 10/30 MSSC CPT ). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to teach and mentor nontraditional and diverse learners. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.
