What youll do at OhioMHAS:
Selected applicant(s) will be required to complete the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections training at the Corrections Training Academy located in Orient OH. This training is approximately 4 weeks in length.
This is anhourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union) with a pay range of 9 on theOhio Health Care SEIU/1199Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 am 4:00 pm Hours may vary/including late night(s). This position is located within Madison Correctional Institutionat 1851 State Route 56 SW London Ohio 43140.
Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Position Qualifications

On record as Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant in process of achieving Chemical Dependency Counselor credential recognized by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board or other Ohio licensing authority with jurisdiction over professionals authorized to provide counseling services (e.g. Medical Board; Psychology Board; Nursing Board; Counselor & Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board); valid drivers license.
