Animal Doctors of South Tampa is looking to add a hard-working veterinary technician to our team. We are a walk-in only clinic supporting the Tampa Bay Area.
Animal Doctors of South Tampais actively looking for aCertified Veterinary Technicianto join our amazing team. We are seeking an organized compassionate and service-oriented CertifiedVeterinary Technicianwho is confident in rooming patients assisting in surgery placing IV catheters drawing blood and running bloodwork has experience with x-ray and proper positioning understands the importance of client education and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing andAnimal Doctors of South Tampaencourages its staff to do the same. If you are aCertified Veterinary Technicianlooking to take your skills to the next level engage in the everyday reward of helping animals and work with a great team then we can not wait to hear from you.
Qualifications
Experience as a veterinary technician.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT RVT or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not .
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams treatments and surgical procedures.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean organized work environment.
