SEND Teaching Assistant Enfield September 2025 Start

  • Contributing to the preparation of individual support plans and progress tracking
  • Encouraging pupil independence while maintaining consistent routines and expectations

SEND Teaching Assistant What the School is Looking For
Were looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who brings compassion adaptability and a genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs. A 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university is required and any experience in child-focused roles such as tutoring mentoring or youth work is highly valued. Youll need excellent communication skills a calm and patient approach and a willingness to learn within a collaborative school environment.

(Please note applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position)

SEND Teaching Assistant Salary and Contract Info

  • 444 per week pro rata to term time only
  • Full-time long-term contract: September 2025 to July 2026
  • Term-time only (school holidays off)
  • Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts for the right candidate
