About the Role
You will manage maintain and promote the professional standards of Nursing Practice whilst managing the operational resources of the Neurology Stroke and Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) Unit. Directly reporting and liaising with the Operations Manager Neurosciences and Respiratory and the Director of Nursing Fitzroy Campus the NUM will be responsible for providing mentoring and leadership to the Nursing Profession in the Unit.
Classifications for this position will range from NM11 - NM12 ($126074 - $130509.60 per annum pro rata)

About 10 West
10 West is a 20-bed medical ward; comprising of 8 Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) 6 Neurology and 6 Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) beds. 10 West offers staff a unique opportunity to gain expertise and knowledge in a range of medical conditions. Experience can be gained in looking after Acute Stroke patients Neurology patients with Multiple Sclerosis Epilepsy and a range of other Neurological disorders as well as ACE patients that require management of the acute health needs in this frail and at-risk older population.
