The Department of Communication seeks lecturers for its undergraduate program in Communication. The School of Communication and Information (SC&I) is a dynamic center of learning at the heart of the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus. Founded in 1982 SC&I research and teaching is delivered by three academic departments: Communication Journalism and Media Studies and Library and Information Science. The department examines how meaning is created and negotiated in human interaction to address the personal professional and public communication challenges and opportunities posed by 21st century life. Research from SC&Is renowned faculty experts examines the complexity of communication processes related to five focal areas: communication and technology health communication interpersonal communication language and social interaction and organizational communication.
