You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAt Houston Methodist the Endoscopy Technician I (Endo Tech) position under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician provides support to the gastroenterology (GI) providers and other members of the healthcare team and is directly involved in patient care before during and after procedures. This position assists with gastroenterology (GI) endoscopy procedures related to preparation for and assisting with room turnaround activities for procedures which include cleaning and processing of endoscopes and accessory equipment. The Endo Tech I position is familiar with all endoscopy supplies and other related equipment ensuring that items are ready available and in good working conditions at all times. Other duties for this position will include department upkeep as delegated by licensed personnel.
