Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable and high-performance web applications using Angular.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers backend developers QA and product managers.
- Define and enforce best practices in front-end architecture coding standards and performance optimization.
- Review code provide constructive feedback and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning standups and retrospectives.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
- Ensure responsive cross-browser compatible and accessible front-end applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Angular releases and ecosystem changes and apply them when appropriate.
Technical Skills
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in front-end development with at least 3 years in Angular (v8).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and SCSS.
- Hands-on experience with state management libraries like NgRx or Akita.
- Proficient with RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming.
- Experience in leading and mentoring front-end teams.
- Strong understanding of unit testing (e.g. Jasmine Karma) and end-to-end testing (e.g. Protractor Cypress).
- Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
Nice-to-have skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Angular Universal (SSR) and PWA development.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (e.g. Angular Material).
- Exposure to Docker or backend frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and web accessibility (WCAG).
