Raytheon UK have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in Glenrothes specialising in the Engineering side of Manufacturing supporting projects in the Aerospace & Defence industry.
A great opportunity to join an innovative global Manufacturing leader in the Aerospace and Defence industry.
This role has a variety of tasks:
- Work on product performance and process
- Reporting and analysis tasks
- Tech support for customers
- Support innovation for engineering tasks
- Perform root cause and corrective action as required
- Support Manufacturing cells and engineering tasks as required
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM) NPI and Manufacturing Process tasks
- KPIs/metrics/data as required
To be successful in this role you will ideally have the follow skils/experience:
- Minimum HND or degree in a related subject e.g. STEM Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Knowledge/experience of electronics Manufacturing
- Process improvement/efficiency/lean manufacturing
- Can lead / participate in process FMEA Control Plan Process flow development review and risk mitigation processes
- Experience of various Manufacturing platforms
- Technical presentation skills
- Ideally have worked for an Engineering Manufacturing or Defence company
- Communication to all levels of the organisation
- Can work as a team player independently and challenge status quo as required
