Job Description

Job Function:

Under direct supervision of the Lead Work Site Program Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Program Director/Manager/Coordinator provide care and supervision respect support learning and employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities in a positive work environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with Supervisors and other Job Site Leads to oversee Hunter Hill and other Pace Solano jobsites. To train and job coach production workers in completing job site responsibilities and implementing individuals job site goals.
  • Participate in person-centered program planning assist with developing and implementing service plans and behavior plans for assigned individuals. Occasionally assist with individuals annual paperwork.
  • Complete documentation accurately and within approved timelines: e.g. SIRs AIRs daily notes data sheets behavior calendars VTS TAs job tracking invoices etc.
  • Is responsible for the overall safety of the recycling center and other Pace Solano job sites. Conducts safety briefings safety inspections completes EARs NMIs and investigation at the recycling center and other Pace Solano job sites with safety representative and Program Manager/Director. Follow agency policies and safety procedures on an ongoing basis.
  • Continually update job site binder to include job duties schedule and contract changes. Work in conjunction with Program Manager/Director Lead Work Site Program Manager and main office to ensure supplies for the Hunter Hill and other Pace Solano job sites are ordered in a timely manner and available at the Hunter Hill.
  • Maintain positive and respectful communication with supervisors co-workers referral agencies job site staff and community at large. Disseminate appropriate information to site management.
  • Attend mandatory trainings staff meetings and staff trainings.
  • Report all suspected abuse in accordance with Mandated Reporter regulations and procedures.
  • Display professional and respectful attitude towards participants co-workers supervisors and assignments.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly from floor to waist; move recycling items from place to place and lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly overhead.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 45 lbs. occasionally.
  • Follow agency policies safety practices and wear safety gear: gloves goggle vest ear protection and non-slip shoes.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Hours:

Tuesday-Saturday 8 hours a day

Requirements

Experience:

Recycling and cash register preferred but not required.

Prerequisite(s):

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid CA drivers license acceptable DMV printout proof of car insurance
  • Must pass pre-employment test which includes grammar spelling and math (70% or better overall)
  • Must pass a pre-placement physical which includes drug screening breath alcohol T.B. test back evaluation.
  • DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
