About the role

We are looking for an Actuary to join our Nordic Actuary unit of 9 team members in business area Private. You will be responsible for estimating the reserves needed to cover the companys liabilities using actuarial methods. You reserve for both short and long tailed business in Private Sweden while participating in projects and development responsibilities within Nordics. In the role you will stay up-to-date with changes in products claims and other relevant developments that may affect the reserves. The role demands you to have a close collaboration and be engaged with local stakeholders such as the Product & Price unit.

You also bring:

• A Masters degree in Actuarial Mathematics Statistics or similar field
• 3 years of experience in reserving/pricing within non-life insurance
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills making it easy for you to collaborate with others on challenging problems
• Attention to details
• An interest in building good and long-lasting relationships and networks
• Experience/interest in Python/SQL Azure DevOps Tableau PowerBI or similar is valued
• Experience/interest in modern techniques to challenging problems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Fluency in other Nordic languages is a benefit
