Context/ ROLE
As part of the companys digital transformation Edenred has launched a major
program together with Paytech.
Paytech is a one-stop-shop for payment programmes. We are a MasterCard Principal Member and a full emoney issuer offering a range of services. We are unique as we process from a single global in-house processing platform and offering integration with Apple Google and Samsung Pay services.We provide services to major international clients and consumers across a wide range of industries including retail finance travel telco and FINTECH.
We are looking for a Senior React Developer to be a member of the Paytech Team.
Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities
Reporting to Software Engineering Manager the Senior React Developer would be responsible for managing a number of developers as well as contributing to the development activities in Bucharest in-line with the companys goals and objectives.
Key result areas:
Technical leadership of the design and delivery of web portals
Ensures the highest quality through appropriate functional and non-functional testing including device browser accessibility testing
Responsible for the delivery output and outcomes of the team
Actively supports evolves and improves the portal product(s)
Ensures direct reports are appropriately skilled challenged and supported
Key tasks:
- React web application development expertise with 4 years experience
- Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions from concept through implementation
- Demonstrated experience in container technologies
- Experience in cloud environments like AWS or Azure
- Practical experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and tools (JIRA)
- International experience or working in international projects is a strong plus
- Ability to work in a team and self-motivation
Required skills & profile
Technical
Significant commercial experience of
- React
- Optimizing web applications in areas such as performance security and resilience
- CSS UX/UK design principles
- RESTful API development
- TDD & Agile practices
- DevOps culture and practices
Experience of the following would be beneficial:
- AWS services
- Front-end testing tools for cross-browser/device
Behavioural
- Team player Supports and assists other members to reach the team goal
- Decision maker can weigh up complex options to reach the right decision Influencer can articulate and challenge the status quo for the benefit of the company
- Well organized able to plan own work and track progress against a plan.
- Strong communicator- written & verbal- able to explain technical issues and solutions to peers.
- Self-starter problem solver
- Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
