About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer to join our team delivering high-quality teaching learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential. Youll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs.
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Science & Access to Higher Education team at Coventry College. We are looking for an inspiring and innovative lecturer in Social Sciences.
Successful applicants must have relevant vocational experience and demonstrate their ability to be able to teach across a range applied Social science units at 3. The role will mostly be teaching Psychology and Criminology alongside other study programme components including Academic Study Skills. Ideally you will also have the skills and expertise to deliver across a diverse curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have taught Criminal and Forensic Psychology Health Psychology Behaviourism and Memory Processes before. Ideally the candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for delivering innovative interactive sessions as well as acting as a Course Tutor to provide support inspiration and guidance to our learners.

Requirements
Must-Have:
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Social Science
Hold a Level 2 qualification in English & Maths
Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
Nice-to-Have:
Experience of teaching Social Science subjects up to level 3 as a minimum within a teaching/training environment
Ability to use effectively within own teaching practice a range of teaching and learning methods including Assessment for Learning Blended Learning and Information Learning Technology
