As a Material Handler you will perform the duties including but not limited to safely picking packing transporting products and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

You will contribute by:

• Selection duties will include but are not limited to: Utilizing electric pallet jacks forklifts and carts to pick products to fill customer orders or assist to bring down pallets of reserve stock to replenish pick slots. Manually picking parts/cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders. Building pallets of products picked to fill the orders. Ensuring accuracy of work and adherence to production quality and safety standards. Packing parts in boxes or fit products on a pallet; ensuring heavy products on bottom to reduce damage plastic wrapping them and loading them onto a trailer.
• Forklift operation duties include but are not limited to: Transporting merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse. Maintaining the proper replenishment in the computer using a handheld device when the pallet is put back in the rack.
• Loader operation duties include but are not limited to: Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensuring damage is avoided. Operating forklift and pallet jack. Inspecting trailer for damage before loading. Utilizing RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets. Wraping pallet and stretch wrap.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Continually Standing bending pulling lifting pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
