Translates requirements into business functional and use case documents for large complex projects; Maintains business systems standards by applying project management methods tools and processes as standard practice
Prepares and delivers informative well-organized presentations and reports and project status reviews to stakeholders including process owners executive team customers and stakeholders
Assists in planning organizing and managing the financial and business management functions (Operations) for the agency; assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures for operations functions; provides support as needed in the areas of budgeting purchasing procurement supplies management and personnel as well as other business services functions that support the operations of the agency
Analyze division operations across the Department for process improvement including IT and workflow solutions; research identify and implement process improvement solutions
Assist in the preparation and submission of the agency annual budget request strategic plan AMS tracking/updates and agency reporting; participate in strategic plan community of practice; provide leadership to agency regarding AMS strategic planning; participate in Governors Transformation Office activities

Knowledge:
General knowledge of methodologies and techniques for systems analysis and design business process modeling requirements gathering quality assurance and software development
Knowledge of supervising coaching leading motivating training and assisting professional employees
Federal and State requirements laws regulations and agency rules relevant to the agencys mission
Assisting with formulating policies to establish direction of the agency or divisions/departments
Business and management principles involved in strategic planning
Knowledge of policies procedures programs and business goals

Skills:
Proficient use of analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sourcesconsolidate details and extract to functional requirements
Analyze operations to evaluate agency performance including business processes budgeting and accounting personnel and purchasing

Requires possession of and ability to retain a current valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment
