Job Summary
Position of Post Doctoral Researcher at Mass. Eye and Ear Boston MA The H&G Wilson ABI lab at the Eaton-Peabody Labs Harvard University Boston MA seeks candidates for a postdoctoral position. Our research projects are focused on translational neuroscience applied to Auditory Brainstem Implants (ABI). We are interested in understanding how the central nervous system integrates and adapts to electrical stimulation to restore hearing. This then allow us to propose new devices that will provide better restoration thanks to our collaboration with Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL Switzerland). We use a multidisciplinary approach combining anatomy electrophysiology behavior and computation in several in-vivo models. The position is fully funded for 3 years starting January 2025 and will provide the opportunity to produce high-impact publications and mentoring in scientific and career development. This project also offers a unique opportunity to work in both Massachusetts Eye and Ear and EPFL as the candidate is expected to travel regularly between US and Switzerland.
